I can also relate to how Paul put off writing back to Gina, even though he should have done so immediately. Sometimes it is just too painful to deal with life. I am hoping Paul is learning how to be proactive instead of reactive in all areas of life. Chapter two was definately worth the wait. Definitely nice to 'see' the character of Wren being built up (while on the other hand slowly setting the stage for a change in the girlfriend status of Paul and Trip). Also good work on defining Paul's experiences on the jobsite. Keep up the good work. Chapter 2 is excellent !!!

The atmosphere and competition on the construction site is right on. My first job at 15 was helping an uncle remodel and restore an old house...being an on site neice was tough on the workers but my larning curve was steep...and the lessons took... Paul's will too. She's a lot like me as far as her personality goes. It's amazing how I can see different people in my life like the characters in the book.
