I wonder if the meat of meet has been met? Makes you curious doesn’t it? What is the edumacashun level of this person? Was it a worker, or manager?

Closed cause they’re out of Meet. Isn’t that the stuff that takes the hair off your legs? I can just imagine what the cashier must look like if they closed because of that!
Not necessarily stupid. From the grammatical construction, it could very easily have been written by someone of asian extraction for whom English is a second or third language.
And supposedly this person either is in school or graduated. Proof that thowing money to education is throwing money down a bottomless hole.
I think I like the clever caption much better than the stupid sign!! Anyone of any origin should know how to spell meat, especially if they are somewhat “in charge” of a restaurant that specializes in M E A T ….
Remember the guy who kept calling fast food restaurants impersonating the police, accusing one of the female employees of some crime, and directing another employee to strip search her? You’d think that after the first or second such incident that every fast food chain in the country would have gotten wise to this guy and put the word out to all the store managers. But the guy got away with it roughly 70 times over a decade!

USA is partly build up, and still being build up now, by foreigners for whom English is not their native language.
Strange that people (foreigners?) are called names as “stupid” just because that never had the chance (or did) learn to write plain English.
Funny would be a better, less arrogant title. The joke would be still equally funny.

In my experience, immigrants who actually try to learn English do a better job of it than natives who just don’t care.
So the caption wasn’t making fun of foreigners—it was about many young Americans, “Generation Stupid.”

I think you are right. Not only do they learn English better, but learn more about USA principles as well. I think people who have seen how other people live (and live it themselves in most cases) appreciate it more. Most people who are born under this freedom, don’t understand how great it really is and take it for granted.
I don’t see any errors the restaurant is obviously a front for a brothel and all employees are currently busy with customers so they’ve closed the doors because there is no one for new customers to MEET.

The foreign run brothel-front’s meet-ers are not in as they are subbing for the meat-ors.
So the meet-ers are eating the meat the meat-ors were supposed to meet.
it’s a BK, they used MEET on the sign becase it’s not real MEAT.
