You know, it’s at times like this that I remember how absurdely large my knowledge and interest is in all things deviant (especially sexually).
Futanari is about as odd to me as me having hair on my head. Within hentai (japanese manga porn, i think hentai means perverted) I can name from the top of my head futanari (or just futa), lolicon (or just loli, which is porn involving not-so-developed bodies), netorare (or ntr, which is wife/husband stealing), shotacon (or just shota, which is porn with young guys), yaoi and yuri (female and male homosexuality respectively) and then we have all the genres that to my knowledge doesn’t have a specific japanese name, such as tentacle sex, porn with absurdely large boobs etc etc. Not to mention that incest and rape seem to be frequent subjects in hentai. But then again, there are quite many who are boring enough to write ecchi (softcore, often no sex and rarely fully nude bodies) so apparently not all japs are “wierd”.

I remember a conversation at anidb.net because they were thinking of using those two terms as tags to apply to videos, before falling back on ‘large breasts’ and ‘small breasts’ because it wasn’t obvious to casual visitors.

ah ha! Found the thread on anidb, apparently ‘pettanko’ is used to refer to a character who is at least partially fixated (positively or negatively) on the smallness of her breasts. According to AnimeNewsNetwork, “Pettanko does not specify any age group, pettanko characters range from adolescents to adults, although pettanko children and pre-teens are rare as they are not yet old enough to develop breasts.”
I’m in the same boat as themanfromsweden. Futa is about as odd to me as seeing a dog on a leash, or a big fluffy cloud. Just about the only things that can make me queasy anymore are guro, vore, and scat. At least most places enforce tagging for ‘controversial’ topics.

Based on the volume of Hentai and just really wierd Japanese porn, I get the feeling that there is a lot of sexual repression in Japan. But I’m a Gaijin, so what do I know?
Seriously… look at most of it. Young girls in school uniforms being held captive and raped/molested by giant tentacle creatures.
