Whew, scary close looking! Must be an alternate reality, though, since she is wearing a medical officers uniform, with a science insignia, from the original series! Always thought they were the sexiest uniforms anyway.

Uh, the Medical division is part of the Science division.
The three divisions were Command, Science, and Engineering (which included security).
Yeah, the main difference was that medical had a surgeon’s tunic that had short sleeves. This was used during surgery only, as I recall.

Actually, I think Nick’s referring to the Pilot of TNG – Encounter at Farpoint. Riker has a line, “Riker, W.T., reporting as ordered, sir.” and considering Riker’s … erm … proclivities … “Commander Stiffy” is appropriate!

I always appreciate a good looking half naked nerdy chick, so thanks for that. The second thing I noticed was this picture is about ten years old now, based on the computer on (and under) the desk. I used to have that one.
I agree with avergaejoe about it looking like Janaway. I can image here going to a costume party on Halloween or Federation day in a period starfleet uniform. And this is after the party with some one special.
I’m assuming she’s taking off her black go-go boots in order to get rid of a pebble or something. But where are the sheer black pantyhose that were also part of the TOS women’s uniform? (The more-or-less-unisex jumpsuits of later adventures made much more sense.)
I would have been REALLY great if her bush was trimmed in the shape of the Starfleet insignia…..
