        It stands to question, not having yet seen this particular set, if the couple are, well, coupling on a piece of outdoor furniture. It certainly does look like they’re on a patio. Few woods can survive long in the outdoors without some checking and warping. Both of those are visible (you gotta be looking really hard to see the warping) in this piece.

        Also, look at the aprons on the table. They look like mill slabs or even possibly fully round posts. The table would look pretty damned silly with a high-quality top sittin’ on mill slab aprons.

        Then again, you may have simply been making a funny. I’ve never been accused of being humor-impaired, but ya never know.

        I personally think it looks good. ‘Course, that may simply be because of what’s being served on it, but still…

        Looks like someone’s idea of simple rough-hewn furniture, probably quite homemade. The cross pieces underneath look like regular treated 4×4′s or just rough sawn slabs – the legs are the only things that resemble finished wood – and even then I’d guess treated 2×4′s.

        For a patio table or something to be out under a pergola and exposed to the elements – maybe in a log cabin – not a bad table. Certainly not something you’d expect to find in a high-dollar house.

        Which of course is what makes the background, and what appears to be a marble railing interesting.

        Not something that I would make in my shop unless specifically contracted to do so – well below my usual construction standards.

      What is missing is a moving picture with some continuous action and some moans and groans. Otherwise, there is nothing that distinguishes this form of art from 98% of the rest of the still shots that you find on the internet. I am sure this girl properly react to some serious pounding from behind.

      The table looks properly sealed to me. Someone just improperly cured the lumber, or moved the table from a humid climate to a dry climate. Still sturdy and won’t give you splinters unless you do something insane on it.
