My first clue was the carbon-copy effect. I’ve never met ‘identical’ multiples that look truly the same. I would have missed the ripples though, good catch Rav. The disappearing shadow of the leftmost I probably would have missed if I wasn’t looking for ripple mismatches, though it sticks out like a neon sign now. There’s something slightly off about the clouds too.
I think it is a very good demonstration of the real meaning of progress in a relationship.

I started thinking “Good, Better, Best” as a progression of triplets, but then started reading. Nuts! Now did the artist add a bikini that had not been there, or removed a bikini that had been there? Due to the loss of definition in her abs, I am inclined to think the bikini was removed in the processing as somebody else’s torso was superimposed.

My initial glance made me think bikini added, then I read the “really good at PS” title and laughed.
It’s actually a removal of the bikini, the belly button is too high, the breasts got larger/fuller in the topless versions and there are highlights on the bare breasts that don’t exist anywhere in the original, the shadows don’t match either as the lighting was harsher for the source image of that chest.
I’m surprised at the choice to replicate the backgrounds too, à la’ like making a panoramic out of separate shots–I would have put the model on a new background rather than having to blend to get the waves and rocks to duplicate.
There is a lot that could be done to make it not appear modified–if only I had time to play today.
PS: But then I’ve done this type of work, making topless and nude versions of 3D game characters for a mod.

When I look at this, I just see a woman shedding her bikini. It looks awesome and is very hot!
When I inspect it closer, I notice the bellybutton pierced in the second and third images, but not the first. There are some other minor discrepancies, including the blending of the left underarm area and hair. But the shadows on the breasts are quite well matched. Overall, I think the photoshop is done quite well. I wonder if the woman knows her picture was photoshopped to make her appear naked

The most immediate tell for me was the hair on her shoulders and the stray hairs on her left (our right); even the same model with the pictures taken seconds apart would some sort of shift there. The odd breast crease on the two topless ones was the second tell for me, then everything going on at the bottom with the water and shadows.
That said, this is good enough work to fool at least 85% of the population, I’d guess. I approve.

You’re all correct, this was a quite masterful PS job. It just “shows to go ya” that details matter. The water ripples were indeed key, and secondly the left side hair ends are the same on the last two images, and different from the original on the far left.
But you are all intense sleuths to have noticed in the first place. Clearly, you’ve seen too many lovely naked women in natural surroundings to have taken the time to look at such details.

Never mind all the other details, this is a fantastic pic. One of the best ever here. I love pics where girls go from bikini/not too dressed to totally nude. Something there to please everybody, whether they like a little mystery or they like to see it all hang out.
My question: does she look sexier in the bikini or sexier wearing totally nothing? I like the total nudity. I like to see what’s really there.

Subsequent images have been enlarged slightly. That is why the clouds look a bit off in the second image.
