Gates might have cornered the business and home PC markets, but as much as I don’t like using Macs, the rest of Jobs’ products are simply stunning. I’m sad to see him go, the world has lost an amazing person.
The bottom of the pic made me double-take, I haven’t seen jpg errors like that in a long time. The subject is certainly interesting, and if there is an afterlife, here’s hoping Steve likes the tribute.

I think the “error” you mentioned is just the slightly different reflection from the bevel on the edge of the mirror.

Actually, Philippe Kahn brought us cell phones with cameras.
Of course Jobs made them so prolific.
Nah, Nokia made them prolific (for a while, they were the #1 manufacturer of digital cameras by unit count). Jobs made the smart phone prolific.

Only Nick would be able to do a send-off with a pretty almost naked girl, and on a second thought, I never ceasr to be amazed at the number of girls who shoot pictures and video of themselves either partially, or completely Nude, or playing with themselves. I’m NOT complaining.
I kinda go with Penn Gillette on this one… It is likely that they will never again in their life look as young and sexy as they do when they’re in that mode. (Yes, milfs, and even gilfs, have sexiness, don’t get me wrong, but we’re genetically programmed so that most of use prefer the youngest, healthiest, child bearing woman available, and no fetish or interest will change that.) To do a self-pic or let somebody photograph them in some sexual/sensual way is a sort of commemoration of the time when they were sexiest.
And like you Smuuthie, I’m not complaining.

Nick posted this late last night, once word of Jobs’ death got out. In compensation, he didn’t post a POD for today.
So, two yesterday, none today, it evens out.
Been a fan of Jobs since I was a little kid with the first Apple II.
Very few people have had the same degree of cultural relevance as Steve Jobs. Platitudes aside, he will be missed.
