People should go back and look at the archives. I’ve been on here (in this name and another) pretty much since the beginning of POD’s. Yes, I use to pull Summer Camp stories off newsgroups, that’s how I found this site. In the beginning there was a much higher ratio of funny, unusual, strange (not WTF strange) pictures to nude pictures. I actually liked the other funny ones a lot and kind of wish we’d get to see more of those again.
And no this is not bitching or suggesting anything Nick. I know it’s your site and you have to do what pays the bills. I’m just saying I for one wouldn’t mind the other types of pics showing up more.
I think the Ebay fail with the teapot from Tue, Feb 17, 2004 was one of the first ones I remember seeing.
I’ve often wondered how I came to this site. It was probably via some newsgroup on a boring nightwatch. Never regretted it.
There is a lot of room between T & A and WTF for Nick to surprise us. I’ll keep watching.
I haven’t been here that long, although it has been quite a while since a friend mentioned the site to me. I also can appreciate the ‘non-nude’ cool pics that Nick shares with us (although I am NOT going to complain about the nudes!!). I think that my all-time favorite “cool” Nick pic was the scratch-built scale model of a WWII Escort (or ‘Jeep’) carrier that a man spent YEARS building!
