You’re wrong. According to isedited.com this photo shows ZERO trace of manipulation. And why the hell would they? Once again it’s easier just to get a bunch of people on a nude beach lined up for a photo. I’ve seen pics like this most of my life that go back to black and white era in grainy underground magazines.

The simplest tell that he’s actually there is the fact that a strand of the brunette’s hair is stuck under his armpit and is pulling taut. That kind of detail is something you could fake, but why would you? Even great attention to detail will overlook inventing certain things that may lend credibility.
Additionally, if you look at the color channels of the image, there’s nothing that looks out of place. If there’s ever a tell beyond the obvious, it’d be there – and in this case, it isn’t.
Yes, one bit is off in this byte of flesh.

The sorting algorithm looks fine to me; it all depends on the criteria for the sort. I choose gender, height, starting on our right and going left. Okay, it did fail; the blonde on the right should be over beside the guy, second from the left.

Yeah! I did it correctly.
I showed the photo to my wife without any of the text and asked her the question, “Which one doesn’t belong, and why?”
She pointed to the woman on our right and said “she’s out of place for her height.” I asked if she could think of any other answers. “She’s not facing the camera.”
She came up with several more reasons why the woman on our right didn’t belong, but never once did she suggest the man on our left because he’s the only man in the picture, which I would have thought to be an equally valid answer.
