While I am related to several union plumbers, electricians and carpenters my only interaction with unions has been 5 years of trade shows at the Jacobs Javits Convention Center in NYC.
3hr waits, over a grand in cost and 4 guys to climb a ladder and plug in an extension cord. o_O
