I love pierced titties, but keep ‘em simple, just rings or bars with screw on or retainer balls. anything else will get caught on knit fabrics, sheets, etc., and be terribly painful and dangerous.

Except exactly like Vizzini you really ARE using the word wrong. I can explain why someone would want to get pierced quite simply: They wanted to, it’s their body.

Their motives may be incomprehensible to you, but that does not make the presence of nipple piercings inconceivable OR inexplicable. As it is both readily thought of and explained (if not thoroughly and to an immediately great motivational depth).
