I added a new Reward level yesterday: Camp Founder.

I want to give people a way to “pay” for all the Summer Camp books and stories from the pre-Patreon days. That’s 5 full books—Books 1-4 plus Nereids—for the price of $8 each.

I see the Camp Founder level as a one-time thing: you subscribe at that level for one month and then reduce your pledge to your normal level the following month. So it’s basically a one-time donation for past work.

What do you get for $40? Three things:

• The good karma that comes from paying for something you already read for free, plus…
• Your name (first + last initial) permanently in the Camp Founder honor roll,* and…
• Access to all the Staff Member pre-release and behind-the-scenes material as long as you’re a Camp Founder.

I don’t expect many people to pledge at this level, but a few will, and I want something less than the $100 Right to Complain level (which is part joke, part serious).

And let me be clear: you’re under no obligation to pledge. I wrote and published everything for free before Patreon, and I’m fine with that. I wouldn’t have a tenth of the readers I do if I hadn’t.

But if you enjoyed all my work and you want to pay for it after the fact, now you have a way to do it for a more reasonable amount ($40 compared to $100).
