I get that question a lot. It’s always rhetorical, since the person follows it with suggestions for couplings or scenes or even whole stories in the Summer Camp universe.
I always thank them for the suggestions, because it’s definitely a form of praise.
But…
I’ll probably never write your Hot Story.
Why?
Lots of reasons.
But the biggest one, and the only one that really matters, is because it isn’t my story.
Your idea may be hot to you, but that doesn’t mean it’s hot to me too. And if I want to tell a story—especially if I want to do it well—it has to resonate with me. In other words, it has to be my story in the first place.
So don’t take it personally when I politely thank you for your message and then never write your wild family orgy.
Instead, you should write it yourself. You already spent time thinking about it and typing it out. That’s pretty much how I started writing Summer Camp. And look where that got me! 🤔
